The training offered by the School is based on a synergy with companies. Placements, final year projects, industrial projects and company visits all form part of the course. The teaching staff includes lecturers from the professional world.

Companies are involved in drawing up the School's overall policy via the Board of Directors and the Advisory Committee.

The associated research laboratories also offer opportunities for high-level industrial cooperation for research and development projects.

Polytech'Lille sets up partnerships with industrial groups who demonstrate their trust by offering placements or projects to students or helping to improve the School's educational resources by paying the apprenticeship tax.

Every year, the School also organises the "entrepreneurial culture week", which allows students to become familiar with every aspect of an engineer's work and career, with conferences on "innovation and research", "company start-ups" and "international work experience".
