If you arrive at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport (north of Paris)
You should catch a TGV (High Speed Train) to Lille from the SNCF railway station, which is in the airport itself. The journey takes about an hour. For further details of train times, see the French railways website www.sncf.frIf you arrive at Orly airport (south of Paris)
You must first travel to the centre of Paris. A bus service called Orlyval will take you to the Denfert-Rochereau station in Paris. From this underground station, you can take the underground or the RER (faster trains which cross Paris in 15 minutes) and get off at the Gare du Nord, where you can catch a TGV which will take you directly to the centre of Lille. The journey lasts an hour and there is a train service every hour during normal periods and every half hour in the rush hour during the week.If you arrive at Brussels Zaventem airport
You should catch a regional express train (or take a taxi) to Brussels-Midi station. From here, a "Eurostar" train or a TGV will take you directly to Lille in 38 minutes.If you arrive at Lille-Lesquin airport
There is a bus service which will drop you at the Lille Flandres station in 20 minutes. This service operates from 7.30 to 18.00.Train stations
There are two train stations in Lille : Lille-Flandres and Lille-Europe, about 400m apart.Lille Europe is a transit station which receives TGVs coming from other parts of France, "Eurostar" trains from London and "Thalys" trains from Brussels. A few TGVs from Paris and heading for the coast may also stop here.
Lille Flandres is a terminus for TGVs from the Gare du Nord in Paris. Regional Express Trains leave from this station for the various towns in the region.
