The faculty members carry out their resarch work in the following laboratories at the University of Science and Technology of Lille (USTL) :
Laboratoire d'Informatique Fondamentale de Lille (LIFL)
Institut d'Electronique, Microélectronique et Nanotechnologies (IEMN)
Laboratoire d'Electrotechnique et d'Electronique de Puissance de Lille (LEEP)
Laboratoire d'Automatique, Génie Informatique et Signal de Lille (LAGIS)Alongside the 5th year of the IMA course, some students also prepare for a research master's degree in one of the following fields :
Computer science, Electronics, Electrical engineering, Industrial automation and computer science
Instrumentation and advanced analysis.Projects and placements
Activities in the form of studies, projects and placements are spread over the three years of the course :3rd year : 1 to 2-month professional immersion placement during the summer 4th year : 2 to 3-month assistant engineer placement during the summer
