There is a friendly bar on the Polytech'Lille site where you can have a coffee or a quick meal (sandwich, pizza or a salad) at a reasonable price.
The USTL campus has three university restaurants: the "Pariselle", the "Sully" and the "Barrois", more commonly known as "RU"s. The first two are open at midday and in the evenings. For 2007-2008, the cost of a meal is 2.80 € (consisting of a main dish and 3 side dishes). "CROUS cards" may be purchased all year round in the university restaurants and are used to pay for your meals in the Lille 1 (USTL), Lille 2 and Lille 3 university restaurants. This magnetic card can be recharged using a bank card at the re-charging terminals or you can use cash at the till.

- The "Cabaret du Sully": a new cafeteria and a new home for student cultural activities. Cabaret atmosphere.
