Accommodation in university halls of residence
The university's international relations department has a limited number of rooms in university halls of residence for students taking part in exchange programmes.The university halls of residence are situated on the campus at Villeneuve d'Ascq :
- Résidence Bachelard : Cité Scientifique Underground station
- Résidence Boucher : Cité Scientifique Underground station
- Résidence Camus : 4 Cantons Underground station
- Résidence Galois : Cité Scientifique Underground station
Please attach the accommodation request form when applying for your accommodation and send it, along with your Erasmus application form, to Polytech'Lille's international relations department before 15th June for the Fall semester and before 15th November for the Spring semester.
We will send your room address either with your acceptance letter or by e-mail. On arrival, we will supply you with a rental contract drawn up between you and the university's international relations department.
The rent is 200 € per month (personal liability insurance, including fire and flood damage).
On arrival, you should pay one month's rent + one month in advance + a deposit of 160,10 €. A room inventory will be carried out when you arrive and when you leave. If your room is damaged, part or all of your deposit may be retained. Payment should be made to the university finance office between the 1st and 5th of every month.
Rooms in university residences are 9 m2 and are furnished : kitchenette (sink, fridge, 2 cooker hobs), 1 washbasin, bed, desk, table, chair/stool, cupboard, telephone and TV sockets. There are communal showers and toilets on each floor. No crockery is provided. Bedlinen may be hired (approximately 3 €).
The university's international relations department has a limited number of addresses for private accommodation in the town. You should be aware that accommodation in town is more expensive than a room in a university hall of residence.
In the halls of residence, you have access to coin-slot washing machines. You can also use the Triolo launderette, 400 metres from the Cité Scientifique (take the metro and get off at the "Triolo" station)
